Tarps

If you search e-bay you can find just about any size tarp you would like. Tarps are generally rectangle in shape and come in a variety of colors.

Depending on the intended use, be it long term or short, and the intensity of the elements, you will have a variety of choices. The lighter weight tarps are ideal for temporary or short term use and the price reflects the longevity. Light weight tarps are usually 6 mil or under and may last a year or more with continued use


		Heavier tarps are available in the 8, 10 and 12 or more mil. range. You may expect up to three or more years of steady use depending on the manufacturer. All tarps are not created equal, so you may want to do a detailed research. The good news is that tarps are in general very inexpensive so you can’t go too wrong. You may even want to purchase more than one color just to have a little variety.

			You buy your tarp on line at a variety of distributors. In general I recommend grommet spacing of not less than 24” o.c. and for larger tarps 18” o.c. is preferable. . . . especially in heavy environmental conditions subject heavy winds.
